Quilling Anyone?
Hello!
Today I want to share with you a couple of cards I made using the quilling technique. It is very popular right now and I am happy it is - it is easy to do and it provides a huge visual impact! I enjoy making the quilled bits to assemble into anything my heart desires!
This time round I had a specific person in mind and I used her favourite color combination of pink and brown. To me this color combination gives a vintage feel to these projects. I hope you are inspired to give it a go with you own favourite color combo. Enjoy....
Supplies used:
Stamp Sets: En Francais Background, Lovely Little Labels
Paper: Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette, Real Read and Whisper White card stock
Ink: Early Expresson, Real Read
Miscellaneous: Fancy Fan textured impressions embossing folder, Large Basic Pearls, Pearl Basic Jewels, Little Labels Punch Pack, Tombow Multipurpose liquid glue.
Tip: I used 3/8" strips of cardstock cut at 8 1/2" lengths. For the red petals, I used 4 1/4" lengths.
Please contact your Stampin Up demonstrator to order your supplies. If you don't have a demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator! You can order any of the supplies for these cards, or any Stampin'Up supplies you desire, by clicking on the Catalogue buttons on the right-hand side of my blog.

Welcome!!
Good evening happy fellow stampers!
I am getting back into the blogging mode - so while I am on a learning curve, please bear with me.
Getting my blog back up and running was all due to my attendance at my very first Stamp'in Up Convention held last month in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
I met so many wonderful, like-minded people (both guys and gals)...and to all of you new stamping buddies/friends I met, and who get to read this blog entry, a huge hug from me to you!!!
Thank you all for your inspiration, sharing, creative loving hearts, and sheer inspiration (and yes, the beautiful energy during those hectic days and nights - no wonder some of my fellow stampers who stayed home forgot to mention a small, oh so wee detail, to keep in mind during convention attendance -you are up around 5:30 a.m. and to bed around 1:30 a.m.ish or so! Oh, and no need to worry about missing exercise class - all the foot miles of walking/rushing to/from/between events gives even the most fit individual a run for his/her money! - wait till next year gang!) I LOVED IT ALL!!!!
So, I now present to you the card I made 81+ times for my Late Nite Stampers swap (which was so fun to do!)
I even have a few details for you, should you wish to reproduce it yourself:
