Happy hello and welcome to the Seashore Stampers' July 2020 Blog hop!
This month's theme is "Wedding" and we have some really gorgeous eye-candy for you to view. Please enjoy!
For my wedding themed card, I borrowed a really neat idea from Erica who showed the Seashore Stampers' this really cool technique enabling you to use up 1/2" scraps!
Ready to try the idea yourself? Goodie! Let's dive right in!
You will need Whisper White Thick cardstock for your base and also for your 1/2" strips.
Cut card elements (and embossed strips) |
Then introduce one ink color that brings joy to your heart (at this moment) or one that being used in your friend's wedding theme!
Stamped and cut elements |
In this case I used Merry Merlot (a color one of my friends happens to have in her wedding theme) and one stamp set (the one used here is called "Heart to Heart" from Stampin' Up!). Also used is the embossing folder called Old World Paper.
Check what you have in your stash and gather your supplies.

Now, you can also change the theme of the card by changing out the color of cardstock and even the greeting. Here is another idea for your creative mojo:
