Thinking of You - Avant-Garden

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you had a really great week - mine was a busy one but a good one.

Today's card share is another card using the Avant-Garden stamp set and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  I really love this set and right now it's my go-to stamp set.  This card is for someone in my acquantice-ship who I feel needs to know someone is thinking of her as she works her way through a rough patch.

I used Emerald Envy as the base color as the person this card is meant for loves
the color green - and it also makes me smile and think of Spring!

Here you can see the application of the ribbon and the ribbon bow

I hope you have a wonderful week - and please, send someone you know a "thinking of you" card - it will make their day!

For now, Happy Inky Smiles to you.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Tips to recreate this card:
Cut:
Emerald Envy 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in half to create your card base
Pink Pirouette 5 1/4" x 4"; and one piece of scrap for greeting (a 1" x 3" or 4" scrap is plenty!)
Next:
1.  Ink up the flower spray with Emeral Envy and stamp across the bottom 2/3's of the Emerald Envy cardstock.  I reinked everytime I stamped the image.
2.  Cut a strip of the 3/8" Gold Metallic ribbon 5 1/2" and then trip ends at a diagonal (see photo above) and attach to card base as shown with snail or fast fuse tape runner.
3.  Cut a shorter strip of 3/8" Emerald Envy Ruched ribbon and again cut both ends at an angle and attach to card base as shown.
4. Cut a shorter strip yet of the 3/8" Gold Metallic ribbon and apply on top of the Emeral Envy Ruched ribbon piece.
5. Now cut a 5 1/2" piece of Emerald Envy Ruched Ribbon and start to tie a knot - but before you tighten the knot slide in a 3" piece of the gold metallic ribbon.
6.  Using the "Thinking of You" greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set ink up greeting with Emerald Envy and stamp onto scrap of Pink Pirouette cardstock.
7.  Cut out greeting using the Bunch of Banners Framelits die set.
8.  Apply stampin' dimensionals to back of the die cut greeting and attach to top portion of ribbon as shown in photos abouve.
9. Attach the ribbon knot with a mini glue dot.
10.  Using Pink Pirouette ink stamp the flower spray on the inside Pink Pirouette cardstock piece (I couldn't get a good photo of the inside of the card but I stamped the flower spray head portion of the stamp along the bottom of the cardstock and a bit up each side.
11.  Stamp your envelope as desired.
12.  Sign your beautiful creation and send off to someone who needs a lift!
Cheers to you - you made it!
