Seashore Stampers Bloghop - Mother's Day Card

 This card was a delight to make and I had my Mom in mind when I was making it, so it is filled with happy love.  If you need an idea for your own Mother's Day card, I hope you give this card a try.

Stampin' Up! Products Used:

Tips and Tricks to Recreate this card:
Cut:
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock for cardbase: 11" x 4 1/4"
Whisper White cardstock: 5 1/4" x 4" (twice: one piece for embossing and the other one for inside of card)
Scraps of cardstock in colors Flirty Flamingo, Cucumber Crush, Whisper White (for flower, leaves and greeting)
Strip of Gold Glimmer paper for flag strip: 5/8" x 3 1/2"
Next:
1. Fold Flirty Flamingo cardstock in half to create your card base.
2. Take one of the Whisper White cardstock pieces and dry emboss it with the Confetti TIEF.
3. Take one of the medium size flower stamps from the Love & Affection stamp set, ink up with Flirty Flamingo ink, and stamp onto the scrap Flirty Flamingo cardstock and cut out with your paper snips.
4. Take the same flower and stamp 3 times onto your white embossed piece of cardstock with the Flirty Flamingo ink - see photo for ideas.  
5.  Then take one of the smallest flower stamps in the set and using Flirty Flamingo ink stamp randomly onto the embossed whisper white card.  Again look at photo for ideas.
6.  Ink up and stamp the "Happy Mother's Day" greeting onto a strip of Whisper White cardstock using Crumb Cake ink.
7.  Cut out a flag shape on left had side of stamped greeting (the right end will be underneath your stamped and cut out flower. (I added a tiny strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock just underneath the top of the stamped greeting strip to give it a bit more color).
8.  Cut out flag shapes at each end of the Gold Glimmer Paper.
9.  Using the Multipurse Glue, glue your glimmer strip over the stamped flowers as shown in photo.
10. Now glue the greeting strip over top of the glimmer strip and let dry.
11.  Stamp three leaves onto the piece of Cucumber Crush cardstock using Cucumber Crush ink.
12. Fussy cut out leaves using your paper snips.
13.  Shape the flower and leaves on your piercing mat and then glue the leaves to the back of the flower and then the flower onto your card using the Multipurse Glue.
14.  Last, attach some Pearl Basic Jewels to your card as desired! (See photos for ideas).
Now all you have to do is stamp the inside of your card as desired and you are all ready to send it out your Mother's Day Card! Whoo-hoo!
Oh, right, don't forget your envelope - stamp as desired too!

Love & Affection -Yay You! Birthday Card

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great week - and that you are here for some stamping inspiration.
My card for you today is one that I made with some stamping friends yesterday afternoon.  Everyone loved the simple layout and we all had a great time making this card.  We even came up with some alternate ideas and I will make one to show you next week.

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:

Tips to recreate this card yourself:
Cut:
Whisper White Thick cardstock 11" x 4 1/4"
Gold Glimmer Paper strip:  3 1/2" x 5/8"
Whisper White strip: 3 1/2" x 5/8"
Flirty Flamingo piece: 1 1/2" x 2"
Cucumber Crush piece 1 1/2" x 2"
Next:
1. Fold Whisper White Thick cardstock in half to create your card base.
2. Taking large flower from the Love & Affection stamp set, ink up with Crumb cake ink and stamp onto card base as shown in photo.
3. Taking another, smaller, flower stamp from this set, ink up with Flirty Flamingo ink and stamp randomly onto your card base.
4.  Choose a greeting from the Greatest Greetings stamp set and ink up with Crumb Cake ink and stamp onto strip of Whisper White cardstock.
5.  Cut out a flag shape on left had side of stamped greeting (the right end will be underneath a flower.
6.  Cut out flag shapes at each end of the Gold Glimmer Paper.
7.  Using the Multipurse Glue, glue your glimmer strip to the card base as shown in photo.
8. Now glue the greeting strip over top of the glimmer strip and let dry.
9.  Now stamp a flower shap onto the piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock with Flirty Flamingo ink.
10. Also stamp two leaves onto the piece of Cucumber Crush cardstock using Cucumber Crush ink.
11. Fussy cut out the flower and two leaves using your paper snips.
12.  Shape the flower and leaves on your piercing mat and then glue the leaves to the back of the flower and then the flower onto your card.
13.  Last, attach some Pearl Basic Jewels to your card as desired! (See photos for ideas).
You can finish off your card by stamping the inside as desired and also stamp onto your envelope.
Now, send off to someone you know will love your handmade card!

High Tide - Thank You Card

Hello stamping friends!
I hope you had a lovely Easter Weekend!

 Today I wish to inspire you to take out your High Tide Stampin' Up! stamp set and create a card.  This thank you card was inspired by a card I made at the recent stamping meeting I attended.

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:

Tips to Recreate This Card:
Cut:
Whisper White Thick: 11" x 4 1/4"
Pool Party: 5 1/4" x 4"
Dapper Denim: 2" x 4"
Whisper White: die cut a 3" circle (largest die from the Layered Circles Framelit die set)
Scrap of Whisper White for greeting
Next:
1.  Emboss the Pool Party piece with the Softly Fallling TIEF.
2.  Stamp the Lighthouse with Dapper Denim Ink.
3.  Stamp sky with Pool Party Ink.
4. Stamp rocks with Crumb Cake Ink.
5.  Stamp greeting of choice from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set onto scrap using Dapper Denim Ink and then punch out with the Classic Label Punch.
6.  Using the Banner Triple Punch, punch out the banner end from the Dapper Denim strip.
7.  Glue the Pool Party mat onto your card base.
8.  Glue the Dapper Denim banner strip to the card mat as shown in photo.
9.  Attach the stamped circle piece to card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
10. Stamp the "thank you" from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set with Dapper Denim Ink onto scrap of Whisper White Thick cardstock and punch out with the Classic Label punch. Trim punched out greeting as shown in photo.  Then glue your greeting to card base as shown.
11. Apply some glitter to the "dots" in the lighthouse (I used the retired Clear Dazzling Details).
11. I stamped the "Thank You" from the now retired SAB So Very Much stamp set to the inside of the card with Pool Party ink and the "so very much" using Dapper Denim Ink.
12.  I also stamped the "Thank You" image onto the envelope with Pool Party Ink.
Done :)   Now onto another project.....(see you again soon).
