I hope your week went well.
I had a few stamping buddies over this past weekend and we had a great time playing and making a few cards.
This week, my inspiration came from a card Dawn Griffith shares on her blog, Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, here. Boy, do I love this stamp set with it's matching dies and designer series paper! And who doesn't love the name "Coffee Cafe". Coffee Break anyone?

I altered my card a bit from Dawn's by omitting the tab opening and then I created two more cards using same color theme and layout but for one I used another DSP from the Coffee Break collection and for the other I omitted the DSP and just used a doily. You will also notice I created a gift card holder for one of the cards by just "notching" the left-hand-side with my 1 1/4" circle punch and carefully using multipurpose glue just around the outside three edges.

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:
Cut:
Early Expresso Cardstock: inside piece: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"; outside piece: 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" (and you die cut the coffee cup lid from this outside piece)
Pear Pizzaz Cardstock: inside piece: 5 1/4" x 4"; outside piece: 4" x 4"
Whisper White Cardstock: inside piece: 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
Coffee Break DSP: outside card 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
Scrap of Whisper White for stamping and die cutting coffee cup
Scrap of Real Red Cardstock: for punched hearts
Scrap of Soft Sky Cardstock: for die cut coffee cup wrapper
Next:
1. Glue all your inside cardstock mats to the inside of the card in this order: Early Express, Pear Pizzaz and then your stamped art piece.
2. Die cut your coffee lid from the Early Expresso cardstock square and then glue the cardstock to the outside of your card.
3. Glue the Pear Pizzaz cardstock square down next.
4. Now glue your DSP square down (if you are using the doily, stamp your coffee beans first and then glue on the doiley).
5. Stamp (Early Expresso ink )and cut out your coffee cup pieces from the appropriate cardstock scraps and assemble your coffee cup using multipurpose glue.
6. Stamp the inside greeting as shown in pictures above.
7. Punch out your hearts and glue to card as shown.
8. Attach your Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
9. Last, decorate your envelope(s) and send off your card(s)!
