Coffee Break Trio of Cards

Hello stamping friends!
I hope your week went well.

I had a few stamping buddies over this past weekend and we had a great time playing and making a few cards.

This week, my inspiration came from a card Dawn Griffith shares on her blog, Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, here.  Boy, do I love this stamp set with it's matching dies and designer series paper!  And who doesn't love the name "Coffee Cafe". Coffee Break anyone?

All three cards

I altered my card a bit from Dawn's by omitting the tab opening and then I created two more cards using same color theme and layout but for one I used another DSP from the Coffee Break collection and for the other I omitted the DSP and just used a doily.  You will also notice I created a gift card holder for one of the cards by just "notching" the left-hand-side with my 1 1/4" circle punch and carefully using multipurpose glue just around the outside three edges.

Card #1 - using Dawn's layout :)

Card #2 - variation without DSP and adding a doily

Card #3 - different DSP from same paper pak :)
Inside of cards - and the one on the right hand side has slot for gift card! :)

Enjoy your week and hopefully you get a chance to share cup of coffee with a friend!
